St. Francis Xavier New Parish Centre, Camrose

The growing Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier in Camrose, Alberta has been actively pursuing the relocation and renewal of its Parish since 1996.  The St. Francis Xavier New Parish Centre Team has envisioned a new Parish Centre that will add to the urban fabric of the City.  The new Centre will be a landmark that draws from historical St. Francis Xavier Church (Camrose) forms.   The 140 foot tall Church spire will become a highpoint in this area of the City.

Six major zones define the plan:

  • Nave + Sanctuary
  • Hall (for 350 persons)
  • Administration wing
  • Commercial kitchen, refreshment area, washrooms
  • Gallery Hall and circulation corridors, (east west main circulation corridor and north corridor)
  • mechanical penthouse

The paved parking area has capacity for 250 stalls.
